Volleyball Recap: Niobrara/Verdigre Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Niobrara/Verdigre won the last time they faced Boyd County and Lynae Nielsen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Nielsen, who had 12 digs. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Despite the loss, Boyd County had strong showings from Claire Reiman, who had 15 digs, and Elena Luber, who had 12 digs.

Niobrara/Verdigre is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season. As for Boyd County, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17.

As of now, neither Niobrara/Verdigre nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
