Football Game Recap: Childersburg vs. Sylacauga

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Childersburg faltered in their contest on Friday. Childersburg didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 8-13 to Sylacauga on Friday. If Childersburg were hoping to take revenge for the 14-38 defeat against Sylacauga the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

The loss dropped Childersburg back to even at 3-3. The win bumped Sylacauga's record up to 5-1.

Childersburg will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Elmore County in two weeks at 7:00 PM. Sylacauga will be playing at home against St. Clair County at at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Sylacauga, St. Clair County will be limping in after taking a loss.
