Basketball Game Preview: Chipley Tigers vs. Central Jaguars

Having just played yesterday, the Chipley Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Central Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chipley will be strutting in after a victory while Central will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Chipley beat Ponce De Leon 52-43.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by West Florida Baptist Academy 73-46.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Chipley, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Chipley against Central in their previous meeting on January 4th, as the team secured a 61-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chipley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
