Baseball Recap: Dillon Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Dillon Christian had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Florence Christian Eagles on Friday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jordan Blackmon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched eight innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dillon Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Florence Christian will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on April 11th.
