Basketball Recap: Asheboro Blue Comets vs. Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles
Asheboro lost against Uwharrie Charter Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Asheboro Blue Comets had to suffer through a 52-18 loss at the hands of the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles. Despite the defeat, Asheboro had strong showings from A'Mya Mosby, who posted four points and six rebounds, and Katie Jones, who had a point and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Mosby a new career-high in rebounds.
