Volleyball Game Preview: R.J. Reynolds Demons vs. Northern Guilford Nighthawks

The R.J. Reynolds Demons will head out to square off against the Northern Guilford Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, R.J. Reynolds came up short against Reagan and fell 3-1. While the Demons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Raiders 25-20 in the first set.

R.J. Reynolds started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Northern Guilford entered their tilt with East Forsyth on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 24-26, 26-24.

R.J. Reynolds' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northern Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
