Basketball Game Preview: Foothill Knights vs. California Grizzlies

The Foothill Knights and the California Grizzlies will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

Foothill picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over George Washington Prep. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Generals are ranked 1225th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, California beat Fairmont Prep 55-47 on Thursday.

Foothill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for California, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
