Basketball Recap: Madelia Falls Short of B O L D in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Madelia can now relate to. They were beaten by the B O L D Warriors 76-49 on Thursday. The game marked the Blackhawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Jack Gross continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for B O L D, going 10-for-13 on his way to 24 points along with seven assists and seven boards. The contest was Gross' seventh in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Baumgartner, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

The loss snapped Madelia's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 26-6 record. As for B O L D, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Madelia nor B O L D have any future games scheduled.
