Volleyball Recap: Western Hills Takes a Loss

Western Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Rio Vista Eagles. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-1.

Western Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Rio Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Western Hills has already played their next contest (against Wyatt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rio Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Whitney on the 28th.
