Gateway and Aurora Central are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Olympians will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Aurora Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gateway, who comes in off a win.

Gateway's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Overland. Gateway haven't had any issues with Overland recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Sa'Mya Shazier and Ashley Hernandez scored all three of Gateway's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Aurora Central came up short against Skyview on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Aurora Central have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gateway now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Aurora Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Gateway was able to grind out a solid win over Aurora Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Olympians repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
