Basketball Recap: Mt. Enterprise Comes Up Short

Mt. Enterprise lost to Overton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a blow against the Mustangs, falling 63-36. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Mt. Enterprise still got an impressive performance from Kaegan Ash, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. Ash continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Mt. Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Overton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Enterprise is set to face off against their familiar foe Carlisle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Overton will take on rival Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
