Mitchell put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let the Gulf Buccaneers onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Mustangs have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Gulf from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Jack Shafer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Mitchell pushed their record up to 10-0-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five contests. As for Gulf, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Mitchell will be taking part in a tournament against Palm Harbor University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average, (Mitchell: 0.3, Palm Harbor University: 0.1) so any goals scored will be well earned. As for Gulf, they will venture away from home to challenge Hernando at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gulf is facing Hernando at the right time seeing as Hernando is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
