Softball Recap: Loretto Mustangs vs. Central Wildcats        
        
		
            
 Loretto owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with  a   3-0  win over the Central Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Loretto also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
 For Central's part, they got a good showing from  Paislee Ticer, who   didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Devyn Green, who  went 1-for-1 with a  stolen base.
 Loretto now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Central,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 23-16.
 Loretto will head out on the road to  square off against  Lewis County at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Loretto's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Lewis County's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Central, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  2-1  victory vs. Columbia Central on the 20th.
