Basketball Recap: St. Raymond Boys Has No Trouble Against Mt. St. Michael Academy

There's no place like home for St. Raymond Boys, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers on Tuesday as the St. Raymond Boys Ravens made off with a 71-47 win. The contest marked the Ravens' most dominant victory of the season so far.

St. Raymond Boys' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Stores, Jr., who went 8 of 14 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was NaJay Bess, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 17 points.

St. Raymond Boys' win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

St. Raymond Boys and Iona Prep will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. St. Michael Academy will take on Cardinal Hayes in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
