Softball Recap: Jensen Beach Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Jensen Beach was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell just short of the Okeechobee Brahmans by a score of 2-1. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Brahmans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Jensen Beach saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cali Mendenhall, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Jensen Beach's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Okeechobee, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Coming up, Jensen Beach will venture away from home to square off against South Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Fork is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Okeechobee, they will be playing at home against St. Cloud at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
