Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Germantown's Third in Last Four Outings

Germantown won the last time they faced West Allis Hale, and Danica Gosz did her part to make sure it happened again. The Germantown Warhawks put the hurt on the West Allis Hale Huskies with a sharp 67-47 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Gosz, who went 8 of 20 on her way to 23 points along with seven boards and seven steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Jakusz, who posted five points and 19 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Germantown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for West Allis Hale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Germantown will challenge Divine Savior Holy Angels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Allis Hale has already played their next game (against Menomonee Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
