The Liberty-Eylau Leopards will face off against the White Oak Roughnecks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty-Eylau has given up an average of 37.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Friday, Liberty-Eylau ended up a good deal behind Atlanta and lost 33-19. The Leopards gained 216 more yards on the day, but it was the Rabbits that made the best use of them.

Liberty-Eylau might have lost, but man, Arian Taylor was a machine: he rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns. Taylor's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards. Liberty-Eylau also got help from Kaiden Peacock, who showed off his sure hands for 105 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for White Oak, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top against Sabine by a score of 41-34 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Roughnecks considering their seven-point performance the game before.
Liberty-Eylau better keep an eye on Jaxsen Ludlow. He was instrumental in White Oak's win, rushing for 178 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 160 yards and two TDs. With that strong performance, Ludlow is now averaging an impressive 107.9 rushing yards per game.
White Oak was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

White Oak's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-2. As for Liberty-Eylau, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Liberty-Eylau has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 177.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like White Oak struggles in that department as they've been averaging 191.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Liberty-Eylau against White Oak in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 78-20 victory. Do the Leopards have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Roughnecks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
