Baseball Recap: Somerset Tech Comes Up Short

Somerset Tech lost against Dunellen on May 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars fell just short of the Destroyers by a score of 10-8. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexander Morales made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of George Ghanime, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Somerset Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Dunellen, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.

Somerset Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dunellen, they will take on Princeton Day at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
