Volleyball Recap: Central Lyon Takes a Loss

Central Lyon was the 3-0 winner over Sheldon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Orabs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Lions fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Orabs since Thursday.

Central Lyon started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 21-25, 25-19, 25-18, 15-12.

Central Lyon dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Sheldon, they moved to 8-9 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Central Lyon nor the Orabs have any future games scheduled.
