Liberty Common wins going away against Valley

Recap: Liberty Common Eagles vs. Valley Vikings

The Liberty Common Eagles won the last time they faced the Valley Vikings, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Liberty Common put the hurt on Valley with a sharp 65-44 victory. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 12 more assists than your opponent, as Liberty Common did.

Leading Liberty Common to victory were Luke Tynan and Pierce Richardson. Tynan scored 15 points, while Richardson scored 12 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals. Richardson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Max Frevert, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Despite the loss, Valley saw an underclassman step up: Caleb Dudley scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Brownell , who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Liberty Common's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Liberty Common will face off against Fort Lupton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fort Lupton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wellington at 4:30 p.m. on December 8th. Wellington is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
