Softball Recap: Hackensack Takes a Loss

Hackensack fell victim to Montclair and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Mounties. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Comets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The loss snapped Hackensack's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-15 record. As for Montclair, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
