Basketball Recap: Summerfield Waldorf Takes a Loss

Summerfield Waldorf lost against Credo back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Credo Gryphon. The Mustangs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Summerfield Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Credo, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Summerfield Waldorf and Pacific Union College Prep will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Credo, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Roseland Collegiate Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Credo is facing Roseland Collegiate Prep at the right time seeing as Roseland Collegiate Prep is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
