Mill Valley faced Manhattan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Jaguars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17.

Riley Riggs paced Mill Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Riggs got some help from Ella Florez and her 16 assists. Florez also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Corinne Schwindt, each putting up two.

Mill Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Manhattan, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
