Appleton West came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to Neenah.

Appleton West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Meyers, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, St. Mary Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against West Bend West, falling 12-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Zephyrs have suffered since April 9th.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for St. Mary Catholic, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 10-5.
