Soccer Recap: Lake City Falls Short of Philip Simmons in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake City can now relate to. They lost 10-1 to the Philip Simmons Iron Horses on Tuesday. Lake City were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the four contests prior), but Philip Simmons' defense proved too tough.

Lake City's goal came courtesy of William Harrell, who's now up to 34 this season.

Lake City moved to 10-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Philip Simmons, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
