Mentor is 8-2 against Strongsville since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Mentor Cardinals are taking a road trip to face off against the Strongsville Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Mentor knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Strongsville likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Mentor strolled past Shaker Heights with points to spare, taking the game 86-67. The Cardinals pushed the score to 72-44 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Raiders cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Strongsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 76-58 fall against Brunswick.

Mentor's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-4. As for Strongsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-3.

Mentor was dealt a bruising 98-65 loss at the hands of Strongsville in their previous meeting back in January. Can Mentor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
