Softball Game Preview: Logansport Tigers vs. Ebarb Rebels

The Logansport Tigers will take on the Ebarb Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Logansport will be strutting in after a win while Ebarb will be coming in after a defeat.

Logansport took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Caddo Magnet as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Tigers have won 17 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Brooklyn Horton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Ebarb came up short against Lakeside on Friday and fell 9-4.

Logansport has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ebarb, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.

Logansport took their victory against Ebarb in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 22-3 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
