Baseball Recap: Clewiston Takes a Loss

Clewiston fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Lake Placid on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lake Placid Dragons by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Graysen Redish was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Clewiston's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lake Placid, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.
