Westview is a perfect 4-0 against Benson since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will take on the Bunnies. Benson took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westview, who comes in off a win.

Westview took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Lincoln High.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Benson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Burke.

Benson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Westview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's contest: Westview has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Benson struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Everything went Westview's way against Benson in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Westview made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
