Baseball Recap: Buckeye Victorious

While Buckeye's victory against Midview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bucks won by a run and slipped past the Middies 7-6.

Buckeye is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Midview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckeye will head out to face off against St. Edward at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Midview, they will challenge Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
