Basketball Recap: Detroit Comes Up Short

If Detroit was feeling good fresh off their 39-19 takedown of Pewitt last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Detroit Eagles took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harts Bluff Bulldogs on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Detroit's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Harts Bluff, they pushed their record up to 14-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Detroit will venture away from home to challenge Bowie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowie will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Detroit surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harts Bluff, they will face off against Pewitt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harts Bluff is facing Pewitt at the right time seeing as Pewitt is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
