The McDowell Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Erwin Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. McDowell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, McDowell came up short against Enka and fell 7-2.

McDowell saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danny Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Jay'Ron Moore also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Erwin's offense. They lost 10-0 to T.C. Roberson on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McDowell's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Erwin, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

McDowell couldn't quite finish off Erwin when the teams last played two weeks ago and fell 11-9. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
