Carson is 2-8 against Robinson since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Carson Cougars will face off against the Robinson Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Carson took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past East Rowan 8-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Their offense was hitting East Rowan from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Anthony Medina-Beckham led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Robinson came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Falcons onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the better team in the second half.

Carson's record is now 2-5-2. As for Robinson, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
