Basketball Recap: Glynn Academy Takes a Loss

Glynn Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 67-57 to the South Effingham Mustangs. The Terrors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Glynn Academy's record now sits at 1-18. As for South Effingham, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-10.

When Glynn Academy and South Effingham next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Glynn Academy will try to stop Statesboro's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Effingham will face off against Bradwell Institute and their five-game winning streak at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
