Jordan McCorkle was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilyan Helms, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
East Gaston's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Burns, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
