Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Toledo). They blew past the Bandon/Pacific Tigers 31-13 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Boomers with their most commanding win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Lindsey Otis, who went 5-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Gracee Retherford also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Toledo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .784. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Toledo's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Bandon/Pacific, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3.
