Basketball Recap: Dakota Valley Beats West Central for Their Ninth Straight Win

Dakota Valley hadn't done well against West Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Dakota Valley Panthers were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over the West Central Trojans. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 20 points or more this season.

Cameryn Sommervold was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Katie Betsworth, who posted 12 points.
