Soccer Game Preview: William Tennent vs. Upper Moreland

The William Tennent Panthers will face off against the Upper Moreland Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

William Tennent fell victim to Council Rock North and their airtight defense on Saturday. They lost 4-0 to the Indians. While losing is never fun, William Tennent can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Council Rock North are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Upper Moreland also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Council Rock South on Thursday, falling 5-0.

Upper Moreland now has a losing record of 6-7. As for William Tennent, they now also have a losing record of 6-7.

William Tennent came out on top in a nail-biter against Upper Moreland when the teams last played back in August, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
