Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Boynton Beach

Boynton Beach had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-6 win over the Inlet Grove Hurricanes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 25-0 back in March.

Boynton Beach's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.2 points on average over those games. As for Inlet Grove, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Boynton Beach will face off against Lake Worth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Inlet Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
