Soccer Recap: Pierce County Comes Up Short

The matchup between Pierce County and Camden County on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Pierce County Bears lost 8-1 to the Camden County Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Pierce County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Camden County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Pierce County will head out to take on Savannah Arts Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Savannah Arts Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 8.5 goals per game this season. As for Camden County, they will welcome Lowndes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
