Football Recap: New London Takes a Loss

New London fell victim to Fox Valley Lutheran and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 21-0 to the Foxes. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Foxes are ranked 89th).

This is the second loss in a row for New London and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, New London will welcome Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Thunder have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they will challenge Winneconne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' defense has only allowed 3.4 points per game this season, so the Foxes' offense will have their work cut out for them.
