Baseball Recap: Philo Comes Up Short

While it was Philo who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Morgan who put up more. The Electrics fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Electrics were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Philo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Lincicome, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Philo and nudges their season record down to 6-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Morgan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

While Philo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
