Basketball Game Preview: Hinton Blackhawks vs. Lawton-Bronson Eagles

Hinton is 8-2 against Lawton-Bronson since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hinton Blackhawks will be playing at home against the Lawton-Bronson Eagles. Hinton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Lawton-Bronson likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Hinton strolled past Sioux Central with points to spare, taking the game 66-47.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lawton-Bronson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against West Sioux by a score of 56-47 on Monday.

Hinton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games. As for Lawton-Bronson, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.

Hinton took their win against Lawton-Bronson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 64-40. Does Hinton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lawton-Bronson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
