Softball Recap: Johansen Comes Up Short

Johansen managed to slip by Grace Davis the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings lost 15-7 to the Spartans on Wednesday. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Olivia Sanchez was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Those hits were her first of the season. California Weed was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Johansen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Grace Davis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Coming up, Johansen will face off against Beyer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grace Davis, they will challenge Central Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
