Preview: Page Sand Devils vs. Tuba City Warriors
The Page Sand Devils's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Tuba City Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th. Tuba City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Page, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, Page was able to grind out a solid win over Winslow, taking the game 61-53. The win was just what Page needed coming off of a 65-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Tyree Stingley, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Stingley set a new season high mark in assists with seven. Maximus Reid was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tuba City, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were the victim of a rough 63-42 defeat at the hands of Holbrook on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tuba City has scored all season.
Page now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Tuba City, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
