Baseball Recap: Bell Comes Up Short

Bell managed to slip by Williston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Red Devils on Friday, falling 9-1. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Red Devils since Friday.

Bell saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RJ Leffler, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Bell is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Williston, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bell will host Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Williston, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Belleview at 7:00 p.m.
