Basketball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

After flying high against Clarksville on Tuesday, Waldron came back down to earth. The Bulldogs were beaten by the Pottsville Apaches 72-40 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Apaches: they've now lost four in a row.

Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Pottsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

While Waldron had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
