After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hardin Valley Academy, Maryville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Farragut Admirals 2-1. Miguel Eddington had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Maryville got from the refs.

Joshua Maldanado Costas and Noah Livingston scored both of Maryville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Maryville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season. As for Farragut, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-1.

Coming up, Maryville will head out on the road to take on Bearden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bearden's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Maryville's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Farragut, they will host Hardin Valley Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Farragut will need to watch out since Hardin Valley Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
