Soccer Recap: Cummings Falls Short of Southwestern Randolph in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Cummings and Southwestern Randolph squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cummings had to settle for second. They lost 11-2 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Cummings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Southwestern Randolph are ranked 31st).

Cummings' loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-10-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

As of now, neither Cummings nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
