Softball Preview: Brownsburg Bulldogs vs. Tecumseh Braves
Brownsburg has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Tecumseh Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Brownsburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Mooresville, who was ranked eighth in their home state at the time (Brownsburg was ranked 19th). Brownsburg skirted past Mooresville 6-5.
Ashley Sylvia and AG Pogue did most of the damage at the plate: Sylvia went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI, while Pogue went 2-for-4 with a home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kensly Larkin, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double.
Meanwhile, Tecumseh had just enough and edged Jasper out 10-8 on Thursday.
